I spy with my little eye

In the lecture, “I spy with my little eye – a graphical city tour”, Martin Schwatlo and I took the visitors on a photo safari through Hamburg. Using concrete examples – from shop signs of kebab shops to St. George to analog street art in the district Sternschanze – both, lays and experts, received insights into the principles and quality characteristics of graphic design in a playful way. As announced in the title, the view for the self-evident in the immediate environment should be sharpened and the images be understood better, because design is ultimately everywhere.
