Do cities have a personality? How can you catch it with words and images and communicate this? Does everyone perceive cities in a different way or is there an overlap in the subjective experiences? I tried to find answers to these questions by exploring the three cities of Duisburg, Leipzig and Nürnberg in ten ways from different points of view. The result are three books, that enable a comparison and at the same time point out the local peculiarities. In this way it’s not only a honest alternative to city marketing, but offers also possibilities to sharpen the view on the own environment.
